Legend Biotech is seeking Director, Investor Relations as part of the Finance team based in Somerset, NJ.

Role Overview

Investor relations (IR) is a strategic management responsibility that is capable of integrating finance, communication, marketing and securities law compliance to enable the most effective two-way communication between a company, the financial community, and other constituencies, which ultimately contributes to a company's securities achieving fair valuation. The candidate will strategize the external message map to the investment community. The candidate will also draft press releases, emails to analysts and shareholders, and make PowerPoint presentations for the Head of Investor Relations and Public Relations. The candidate will work closely with the Head of Investor Relations and Public Relations in interacting with investors and sell-side analysts. The candidate should be able to work independently to cope with investors, research analysts, external counsel, and our internal partners (i.e. business function heads)

Key Responsibilities

• Be responsible for creating appropriate strategy, framework and tactics, and investor relations roadmap
• Manage investor and sell-side analyst relationships; assist in building robust shareholder base
• Develop and maintain financial model for the company; manage Street consensus expectations
• Prepare press releases for company’s milestones and PowerPoint slide decks for major investor and medical conferences Analyze and present financial trends, competitive landscape; provide insights on market activity to management team
• Responsible for overseeing and managing quarterly earnings and conference calls, and IR events
• Arrange logistics for investor meetings and organize non-deal roadshows
• Handle investors inquires and draft emails for shareholders and analysts
• Assist in ESG disclosures, and work with Legal team to ensure compliance with SEC regulations

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree required, preferably in business administration or finance; life science background a plus
• A minimum of 10-year relevant work experience in investment banking/equity research/in-house/agency investor relations role
• Knowledge of MS Office applications, especially good at EXCEL, PowerPoint
• Knowledge of financial modeling techniques and valuation methods A strong understanding of capital markets, as well as a thorough understanding of key metrics for companies in the biopharma industry
• Good team player with strong communication skills in both written and verbal
• Able to perform in a high-pressure environment, and meet tight deadlines
