JOB DESCRIPTION

Summary/Objective

The Operations Representative will be responsible for the support of various back office operational and customer service functions including, but not limited to, ACH/Wire Transfer, fraud, and account services where deadlines require timely and accurate processing. 

Essential Functions

1. Will be the primary point of contact for VISA disputes.
2. Analyze and process reporting through CenterView and E-Safe and preparing for Pre-Arbitration process
3. Processes and/or reconciles transactions in accordance with established policies and procedures.
4. Reviews transactions and related documents, verifying work processes to ensure completeness, accuracy and conformance to established service levels and applicable policies and procedures.
5. Process incoming C/L and Incoming Return files.
6. Receive and process wires, exceptions (i.e. stop payments, two signatures required), and ACH.
7. Balance teller cash, repayment plan, cash advance, applications, ATM and VISA.
8. Monitor and maintain DDA/SAV charge-offs.
9. Monitor money market and savings account for excessive activity per Regulation D.
10. Research and process insufficient items and returned deposited items.
11. Research and troubleshoot any transactions that may have not posted properly.
12. Process and monitor AOD.
13. Scan daily work into CenterDoc.
14. Adhere to all Legence Bank and AFMFS Hoopla standards, serving as an example to other team members, as well as to our customers.
15. Represent and promote the Company within the community through participation in bank sponsored events, philanthropic opportunities and civic events.
16. All other duties as assigned

Supervisory Responsibility

This position has no direct supervisory responsibilities but does serve as a coach and mentor for other positions in the department.

Work Environment

This job operates in a professional office environment. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as laptop computers and smartphones.

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk and hear.

Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision and ability to adjust focus. This position requires the ability to occasionally lift office products and supplies, up to 20 pounds.

Position Type/Expected Hours of Work

Some flexibility in hours is allowed, but the employee must be available during the "core" work hours of 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. 

Travel

Travel is primarily local during the business day, although some out-of-the-area and overnight travel may be expected.

Required Education and Experience

1. High School Diploma or Equivalent
2. Proficient in Microsoft Office
3. Able to Quickly Learn New Software
4. Valid Driver’s License 

Preferred Education and Experience

1. 1 to 3 Year Experience in a Financial Setting Preferred
