A DAY IN THE LIFE OF A COOK
As a Cook, you prepare meals for our senior residents. Meal time is a special time and you love providing an enjoyable experience! Paying careful attention to dietary needs, you prepare food and monitor the quality for taste, smell, appearance, and temperature. Seeing the residents enjoy your cooking makes you feel good!
You keep the kitchen clean and follow food sanitation standards to the letter. You also assist in the maintenance of our menus and recipes. Each day, you determine the required amounts of supplies and food needed and make sure the kitchen is fully stocked. You feel good keeping our senior living residents well fed!
QUALIFICATIONS
- One year or more of experience as a cook
- Ability to lift up to 30 pounds
- Current food handler's permit or the ability to get one
- A heart for serving seniors
