Provides recovery support and peer coaching to program participants. Required to attend DMHAS State mandated trainings delineating peer role functions, competencies, responsibilities, and orientation to DMHAS treatment initiatives. Works with individuals to support and strengthen their capacity to engage in personal recovery through wellness services, development of recovery plans/wellness recovery action plans, education on navigating treatment social services and recovery support programs. Provides both face to face and telephone support services based on personal choice and maintain aftercare contacts based on agency procedures.

Full time, some evening hours required.

Legacy’s mission is to change the behavioral health and social service outcomes for people of all ages from surviving to thriving.
The Coordinated Specialty Care (CSC) and Community Integration program provides comprehensive services including evidence-based pharmacological treatment, supported employment and education services, individual and group psychotherapy, case management, family therapy, and recovery support in th community and clinical settings. This program services individuals ages 15-35 years of age and have an ESMI diagnosis.
A minimum of an associate’s degree is preferred; a high school diploma is required. Must have 2 years’ experience in the guiding principles of recovery that assist individuals to improve health and wellness, live a self-directed life, and to reach full potentials. CPRS certification (Certified Peer Recovery Specialist) is preferred.
