Description/Job Summary

Position Summary: The person that fills this role will have proficient knowledge of the bank's internal and correspondent accounts and be able to reconcile such accounts so that outstanding items are taken care of in a timely manner. This person will also assist customers with account research questions on a regular basis. The employee must be a self starter, customer service oriented and willing to work with others in a fast-paced environment.

Major Duties and Accountabilities:

• Reconcile any/all internal or Due From Bank accounts and GL account which may be assigned. These duties may include monitoring adjustments and correspondence to other areas.
• Reconcile all ATM/ITM accounts which may be assigned. These duties may include monitoring adjustments and correspondence to other areas.
• Resolve daily EIM issues for NSF, Nonpost, Stop Payment and Chargebacks. Monitor these accounts to ensure processing is complete each day.
• Provide guidance to customers and leadership to employees regarding suspect transactions, card disputes or compromised accounts.
• Maintain any deposit account issues as they arise with CDS, Savings, and Checking or customer information within the system and provide team support for other areas.
• Initiate and/or work any received Due From Bank or Federal Reserve Bank check adjustments
• Maintain updated written procedures for daily tasks to guide employees in the correct way to perform duties.
• Periodically audit systems and work performed by others to ensure employees adhere to policies and procedures.
• Continually educate staff about any system or policy updates that may impact the quality of work or service.
• All other duties as assigned.

Required Qualifications

Required:

• High School Diploma or GED equivalent.
• Minimum of 7 years banking, accounting or finance experience OR
• Minimum of 2 years banking, accounting or finance experience AND bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or related area.

Preferred Qualifications

Preferred:

• Previous Deposit Operations experience.
• Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance or related area.
