Legacy Metals, LLC is a rapidly growing, family-owned business located in Hopkinsville, KY and is a leading provider of pole barns, barndominium and houses. We operate a full-service lumber yard and manufacture metal siding and trim. We've experienced rapid growth by maintaining an amazing team, great customer service and harnessing the power of advanced software and technology. We're looking for a creative and dedicated team player to help us to maintain and improve our use of software and technology.

POSITION SUMMARY:

This is an in-office position in Hopkinsville, KY. The IT Specialist oversees the day-to-day use of our IT department and other Information Systems. This person conducts research and development for future system improvement. Assist with troubleshooting tech issues on site and serves as a liaison with 3rd party IT services and developers.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

  • Assisting with the implementation of the Odoo ERP, including the adaptation of services and training.
  • Serve as the main point of contact for technical support.
  • Provide technical support, troubleshoot issues, and implement enhancements to streamline business processes.
  • Exercise independent judgment to analyze and diagnose application and information system-related problems and issues.
  • Administer and maintain the company network and other software service accounts, including user access, security settings, and system configurations.
  • Monitor system performance and ensure optimal operation of the information systems.
  • Conduct regular system audits to ensure data security & integrity, accuracy, and compliance with organizational policies and regulations.
  • Plan and execute system upgrades, patches, and migrations in coordination with business teams.
  • Coordinate with internal & external resources and consultants for system integrations, upgrades, and support as needed.
  • Provision new users and provide basic training to new employees on system usage.
  • Train end-users on system functionalities, best practices, and new features.
  • Effectively communicates with internal team members and end users to ensure clear and prompt delivery of solutions.
  • Provides superior customer service to all system users.

JOB REQUIREMENTS

  • Associate Degree in Information Technology or equivalent work experience.
  • Must show understanding and previous use of development languages such as HTML, CSS, JavaScript, jQuery, SQL, React, GIT, Python or equivalents.
  • Experience troubleshooting computer hardware and peripherals.
  • Creative problem-solver who is skilled at overcoming obstacles and solutions around key business problems.
  • Excellent project management skills and skilled cross-functional collaborator.
  • Experience with other platforms, such as ClickUp, Salesforce a plus.
  • Experience with Odoo ERP or other manufacturing ERP a plus.
  • Agile and adaptable to changing circumstances.
  • Experience with databases, software, and computer languages. (Python, JavaScript, Microsoft Office 365, etc.)
  • Familiar with Agile concepts and SCRUM methodologies.

Job Type: Full-Time (40 hrs./wk.)

Location: Hopkinsville, KY (Not Remote)

Salary Range: 40k to 50k based on experience.
