**Join our Team**

We are currently expanding our team and are looking for a Licensed Social Worker for our Programs Director role. As a member of our team, your compassionate care, communication and management skills, and understanding of the psychosocial dynamics of illness, loss, and death will be instrumental in providing direct patient care during the final stages of life.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Directs oversight of the establishment and implementation of social service, spiritual, volunteer and behavioral services, work methods, and procedures.
  • Recruits, selects, orients, and indirectly manages members of the social service, spiritual, volunteer and bereavement team in coordination with the Branch Administrator.
  • Ensures proper documentation and compliance with state, federal, and ACHC standards.
  • Provides leadership in strategic planning including identifying opportunities for additional or improved services to address unmet customer needs.

Key Qualifications:

  • A Master’s degree in Social Work accredited by the Council of Social Work Education. Meets personnel qualifications as stated in §418.114(b)(3).
  • At least three (3) years management experience preferably in home care operations.
  • Demonstrates an ability to supervise and direct professional and administrative personnel.
  • Ability to deal tactfully with customers and the community.
  • Knowledge of corporate business management, governmental regulations, and ACHC standards.
  • Demonstrates good communication and public relations skills.
  • Demonstrates autonomy, organization, assertiveness, and flexibility and cooperation in performing job responsibilities.
  • If making home visits, must be a licensed driver with an automobile that is insured in accordance with state and/or organization requirements and is in good working order.
