LEGACY HEALTH is Hiring a Remote Bariatric Compliance Analyst-Remote Position (OR/WA Only)

Overview:
Remote Position (OR/WA Only)
This is a remote position – incumbents, who reside in Oregon or Washington only. There may be occasional situations that require work to be performed on-site at an assigned Legacy Health location. All new hires are required to come to a designated Legacy Health office location in Portland, Oregon prior to their start date for a new hire health assessment and to complete new hire paperwork. This position may require initial training and orientation to be site-based, before transitioning to the remote schedule.

The Bariatric Compliance Analyst plans and evaluates multidisciplinary, process improvements relating to quality of clinical care/practice/service. Maintains working knowledge of quality assurance, quality control, and regulatory requirements. Monitors trends and participates in the determination of need for further assessment and improvement. Recommends policy and procedure changes to improve care and patient outcomes using clinical knowledge base. Maintains and enhances a variety of databases, statistics and reports. Oversees coordination of multi-disciplinary team and patient tracking. Coordinates marketing, financial, budgetary, clinical and process flow information between databases, staff and departments.
Qualifications:
Education:
Bachelor’s degree in a pertinent area of study or equivalent experience.

Experience:
Three years’ work experience related to area of responsibility: Prefer at least two years clinical database management experience. Experienced user of Access, Excel, statistical software packages, query reporting, report specification development, and survey development strongly preferred. Experience with continuous quality improvement, outcomes management and regulatory standards for information management strongly preferred. Knowledge of marketing and financial principles preferred.

Skills:
  • Thorough knowledge of clinical operations, including ability to coordinate patient progress through the program, systematically trouble-shoot application problems and coordinate resolutions.
  • Strong analytical, written and verbal communication skills, and a willingness to lead by example.
  • Full familiarity with related medical terminology, proficient in Microsoft Office applications and applicable databases, Internet and physician's office software.
  • Good verbal and written communication and personnel facilitation skills.
