Legacy Engineering is seeking a highly motivated team player to join our team! If you are enthusiastic about geotechnical engineering and eager to be challenged, we have an opening for a key contributor ready to make an immediate impact. As a Geotechnical Engineer you can leverage your education and knowledge in Geotechnical Engineering and hands-on professional engineering experience with residential and commercial geotechnical projects.
Job Responsibilities
  • Prepare Geotechnical Subsurface Exploration Studies
  • Coordination of Explorations (Boring layout, Miss Utility, Drilling)
  • Slope/Global Stability Analysis
  • Construction Inspections (Foundations, Proofrolls)
  • Project Management (Construction and Geotechnical)
  • Evaluation of Laboratory Data
  • Soil Classification and Assignment of Laboratory Testing
  • Proposals for Geotechnical Investigations
  • Perform pavement design computations
  • Coordinate with other staff as necessary
  • Manage deadlines and communicate progress of multiple on-going projects
  • Site visits to inspect and document conditions and/or construction progress
Education
  • Minimum of 7-10 years’ experience with geotechnical engineering projects
  • B.S. in Civil Engineering or similar field of study from an accredited university
  • PE, required
