LEGACY EARLY COLLEGE OVERVIEW
Legacy Early College is a K4-12 public charter school that originated through the vision of businessman William Brown in 2010 with an unwavering focus on “To and Through College” at every grade level. Legacy’s model combines academics, nutrition, physical fitness and mental health. In addition to our college driven academic standards, meals are made on site, scholars participate in PE every day and Social-Emotional Literacy is integrated in the culture and curriculum.
POSITION OVERVIEW
The Interventionist will work directly, and potentially one-on-one, with scholars who have struggled to display a mastery of the reading or math, as practiced within their classroom on a daily basis. Above all else, the Interventionist will find joy and purpose in teaching children the habits necessary to be successful in school, and they will relish the opportunity to imbue our students with a love for learning. They must also be committed to Legacy’s mission, while possessing the beliefs, character traits, and skills necessary to ensure student growth and achievement.

Work Schedule
This is a full-time position, this position will operate on a 195-day schedule (Monday through Friday, 7:30 am to 4:00 pm) based on the centralized Legacy Early College central office calendar.

Position will have periods of extended work week hours, which is required to support both the ongoing development of the region and the delivery of high-quality education for all students.
