JOB OVERVIEW:
We are seeking a Measurement Technician to join our team. As a member of our window measurement team, you will be responsible for performing various duties related to window measuring for window covering manufacturing.

We are looking for working experience at all levels and a self-motivated candidate, with the ability to measure windows (high and low), doors for residential homes and commercial buildings. This candidate will be driving around the Dallas metroplex - must have a valid driver's license.

DUTIES INCLUDE:

• Measuring windows/doors on lower floors, upper floors, and high ceilings. Must be able to climb mid to tall ladders.
• Must be able to measure and be willing to support the installation team on just Saturdays. This candidate only will focus on measurements from Monday to Friday.
• The ability to communicate effectively with customers. Please note: this candidate is not a sales person, just a measuring technician.
• We take measurements on a software/tablet (not handwritten) - training is provided on the entire process of taking measurements. Must be willing to learn.

SOME REQUIREMENTS:

• Basic math skills for measurements and calculations.
• Some experience in window measuring is nice to have, or any type of measuring experience because our method can be taught.
• Ability to lift heavy objects and perform physically demanding tasks.
• Able to use software and tablet if taught.
• Excellent problem-solving skills.
• Effective communication skills and collaboration with team members.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: From $40,000.00 per year
