We are looking for an individual who loves Jesus and enjoys working with little ones. Our preschool substitute teachers will be responsible for facilitating a warm and loving environment where our students can thrive and learn while their core teacher is out.

Responsibilities

• Care and teach your preschool students that are in your care
• Employ a variety of educational techniques (storytelling, educational play, media etc.) to teach children
• Implement standard of care as directed by our Preschool Director in your classroom
• Guide children to develop their artistic and practical capabilities through a carefully constructed curriculum (identify shapes, numbers or colors, do crafts etc.)
• Organize nap and snack hours and supervise children to ensure they are safe at all times
• Collaborate with other educators in our preschool.
• Maintain a clean and tidy classroom consistent with health and safety standards

Requirements

• Be a committed follower of Jesus and be able to sign off on our Statement of Faith
• Pass a Federal Background Check
• Be able to lift 50 pounds

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: From $13.00 per hour

Schedule:

• 8 hour shift
