Job Overview

We are seeking an Overnight Room Service Serverat Hotel Bardo Savannah, who will play a crucial role in providing exemplary service and delivering delicious meals to our guests during late-night hours. This team member's attention to detail and commitment to the guest experience will play a critical role in the success of the resort's overnight In Room Dining program.

Responsibilities

• Take and process guest orders accurately and efficiently, providing personalized recommendations and accommodating special requests as needed.
• Deliver food and beverages promptly and courteously, ensuring proper presentation and temperature maintenance.
• Set up and arrange in-room dining trays and tables with attention to detail, creating a welcoming and comfortable dining environment.
• Anticipate guests' needs and preferences, proactively addressing any concerns or requests to enhance their dining experience.
• Coordinate with kitchen team to ensure timely preparation and delivery of orders, communicating any special instructions or dietary restrictions.
• Handle payment transactions accurately, including processing room charges and collecting cash or credit card payments.
• Take pre-orders for breakfast service, ensuring accuracy and timely delivery in the morning hours.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization in the in-room dining area, including tray retrieval and sanitation of dining equipment.
• Adhere to food safety and sanitation guidelines, including proper handling and storage of food items and adherence to hygiene protocols.
• Collaborate with overnight front desk and team to ensure a safe and secure environment for guests during late-night dining.

Qualifications

• Willingness and availability to work overnight shifts, including weekends and holidays, as business needs require.
• Previous experience in food and beverage service, preferably in-room dining or restaurant setting.
• Excellent customer service and communication skills, with the ability to interact effectively with guests and colleagues.
• Ability to work independently and efficiently during overnight hours, demonstrating reliability and self-motivation.
• Strong attention to detail, including accuracy in order taking and delivery, even during late-night shifts.
• Flexibility and willingness to work overnight shifts, including weekends and holidays, as business needs require.
• Knowledge of food and beverage offerings, including wine and cocktail selections, preferred.
• Physical ability to lift and carry trays and other dining equipment as needed.
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
