Position:Action Officer

Job Description:Leffler Consulting is seeking experienced Action Officers (intermediate and senior levels) to joinour team at the National Reconnaissance Office (NRO) in Chantilly. The position focuses onoverseeing the management and execution of all internal / external taskings and themaintenance of action tracking systems, managing communications and products to be sharedwith internal Agency and external IC/DoD partners. Additionally, the position includes oversightand management of the development, dissemination, and communication of policies andprocedures within the Agency Program Office, Directorate, and IC.Duties:• Analyze, evaluate, assign, monitor progress, and follow to closure office responses totaskings from Congress, IC/DoD partners, the Agency, and internal Office actions.• Coordinate, review, and evaluate responses ensuring quality, timeliness, and properapprovals are achieved• Interact with management (at multiple organizational levels) and the technical workforceto draft, consolidate, coordinate, and edit executive-level briefings, point papers, andother materials on complex issues affecting the Program Office and the Agency.• Maintain the action tracking systems and relevant databases (SAT, TIER, etc.)• Review, analyze, prioritize, ensure quality control, and approval through appropriatechannels for all communications and materials leaving the Program Office to externalparties within and outside of the Agency.• Review, interpret, develop, streamline, and communicate policies and procedures thatare applicable to the Program Office, Agency, and IC/DoD community• Manage records created and participate in Agency, Directorate, and Program OfficeRecords Management processes• Lead, execute, develop, and streamline Director’s Action Group (DAG) functions• Observe, identify, and communicate ways to increase efficiency across the ProgramOffice.• Identify and report internal and external issues that may impact the Agency, theDirectorate, and the Program Office

Required Qualifications:• Active TS/SCI clearance with a CI Poly is required• Bachelor’s degree in a technical or business-related discipline with 3-10 years relevantIC or DOD experience. Years of experience determine the position level.• Must be proficient in Microsoft Office applications, including Word (advanced formattingand editing), PowerPoint (advanced formatting and editing), and Excel• IC and/or DoD experience preferredFounded in 2001, Leffler Consulting is a women-owned small business (WOSB) headquarteredin Chantilly, Virginia.
