We are looking for a strong Procurement Specialist with excellent organizational, people and analytical skills. Ideal candidate will be process focused with a proven track record of success in the construction industry.

This position will support the company in the planning and organization of awarded projects and represent the company communicating and making commitments with owners, suppliers, and design professionals. Our ideal candidate would also have these skills:

• Excellent written and oral communication
• Experienced in Microsoft Excel
• Strong construction knowledge and buy out process
• Ability to read project plans, specs and construction schedules
• Able to own the results of project planning and progress
• Meets deadlines consistently
• Sets and manages priorities
• Great problem solving and negotiating abilities

Responsibilities:

• Estimating, budgeting, best value assessment and value engineering
• Preparation of submittals preparation, tracking and distribution
• Purchasing and invoicing
• Develop and maintain RFI’s, substitutions requests, budgets for multiple projects
• Track construction schedules for material delivery, project performance, delays and changes
• Pre-qualification of subcontractors and vendors
• Distribute letters of intent to award and execute contracts and subcontracts.
• Update and communicate preconstruction tracking metrics

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or related field
• Proven experience in procurement within the construction industry
• Strong negotiation skills and experience in contract negotiation

Compensation

• Compensation is dependent on experience, in line with industry standards

Background check, MVR Check, and Drug test required

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $60,000.00 - $80,000.00 per year
