Responsibilities:
- Conduct legal research and analysis on various cases and issues
- Draft legal documents, including pleadings, motions, contracts, and agreements
- Assist with trial preparation and participate in courtroom proceedings
- Collaborate with senior attorneys to develop case strategies
- Communicate with clients, opposing counsel, and other parties involved in the legal process
- Negotiate settlements and draft settlement agreements
- Provide legal advice and guidance to clients
- Stay updated on changes in laws and regulations relevant to the practice area
Qualifications:
- Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school
- Strong research, writing, and analytical skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
- Proficiency in legal administrative tasks, including document management and case organization
- Experience with legal research tools such as Lexis-Nexis
- Demonstrated ability to negotiate, write, research, and litigate cases
