The Store Team Member assists in the store operations at the front counter delivering exceptional customer service, maintaining our clean store image, preparing food orders, and completing other tasks as assigned.
Essential Job Functions:
Sandwich:
· Making sandwich orders and washing vegetables to serve good food quality per Company standards
· Following Lee’s Sandwiches Ingredient Charts procedures
· Following the Opening and Closing Checlist
· Slicing meats and vegetables by hand or machine
· Cooking and mixing ingredients to make dressings, fillings, sauces, and spreads
· Reheating, cooking, and frying foods
· Cleaning work station and other assigned areas including dining room, parking lot, and restroom
· Other duties as assigned
Kitchen:
· Preparing a variety of meats, vegetables, and other food items for cooking in ovens, grills, fryers and other kitchen equipment
· Following Lee’s Kitchen Ingredient Cooking Charts/Guides procedures
· Following the Opening and Closing Checklist
· Maintaining consistency of Company standard portion sizes, cooking methods, and quality standards of kitchen rules, policies, and procedures
· Maintaining a clean and sanitary work station area including utensils, small wares, tables, shelves, walls, grills, fryers, over, refrigeration equipment
· Cleaning work areas and other assigned areas including dining room, parking lot, and restroom
· Other duties as assigned
Beverage:
· Preparing a variety of specialty beverage orders such as Lee’s Specialty coffee, smoothies, hot drinks, etc.
· Following Lee’s Beverage Ingredient Charts procedures
· Following the Opening and Closing Checklist
· Maintaining work area organized, clean, and properly stocked at all times
· Cleaning work station and other assigned areas including dining room, parking lot, and restroom
· Other duties as assigned
Baker:
· Preparing and baking all bread, pastries, and other food items per Company Baking Charts and Guidelines
· Following the Opening and Closing Checklist
· Maintaining consistency of good quality bakery item standard sizes and baking methods
· Maintaining a clean and sanitary work area including utensils, small wares, tables, shelves, baking overs, proofers, refrigeration, and equipment
· Maintaining and deep cleaning equipment and bakery overs
· Cleaning work station and other assigned areas including dining room, parking lot, and restroom
· Other duties as assigned
Job Requirements:
· Able to speak/read/write/comprehend English
· Able to deal tactfully and pleasantly with customers
· Able to do repetitious work accurately
· Neat in appearance and having a good positive attitude
· Carry and lift items weighing up to 50 pounds; bend, stoop, and kneel
· Stand and move about in all work areas
· Handle food objects, products, and utensils with ease
· Have a flexible schedule (able to work nights, weekends, and holidays when needed)
· Assist in other work stations when needs
· Willing to permanently relocate to other local store locations when needed
Willing to temporarily relocate to other local store locations when needed
