RESPONSIBILITIES

• Perform Pharmacy Technician duties in accordance with company policies and procedures
• Prepare, compound, and package medications for distribution
• Prepares work area and products thoroughly prior to performing work
• Aseptic technique: ability to maintain sterile conditions when handling medications
• Maintain proper inventory levels of medications and supplies
• Ensure all required documentation is completed accurately and in a timely manner
• Comply with all state and federal laws, rules, and regulations governing the practice of pharmacy

QUALIFICATIONS

• Previous experience as a pharmacy technician is required (Retail, Compounding, etc)
• Knowledge of pharmaceutical calculations and dosages
• Familiarity with pharmacy laws, regulations, and procedures
• Proficient in using pharmacy software systems and documentation

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $23.00 - $25.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
