As a Registered Dietitian, you will:

• Provide guidance to the Dietary Director and Administrator

• Assess resident nutritional status, diagnose nutrition problems and risks, and develop interventions to meet needs

• Ensure nutrition care plans are updated as the patient's condition or interventions change

• Monitor meals served for compliance within physician orders and menu extensions

Qualifications for a Registered Dietitian:

• Current registration by the Commission on Dietetic Registration of the American Dietetic Association

• Successful completion of an internship or practical work experience that included a rotation in long-term care
