To help drive our future, we are looking for a Quality Assurance and Technical Support Specialist to join our development group. As a Quality Assurance and Technical Support Specialist, you will play a pivotal role in maintaining the high standards of our data platforms. This position involves a combination of quality assurance testing, issue resolution, and technical support to guarantee a positive user experience. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including contractors, developers, product managers and stakeholders to address challenges promptly and enhance the quality of our platforms. This fully remote, full-time role will report to the Director of Data Platforms. Responsibilities:Quality AssuranceDevelop and execute a comprehensive test plans based on how users interact with the platforms.Conduct thorough testing of new features, enhancements, and bug fixes.Build test plans for automated testing scripts to ensure efficient and effective testing processes.Collaborate with developers to identify, troubleshoot, and resolve defects.Technical SupportProvide prompt and effective technical support to users via an internal ticketing system and email. Troubleshoot and resolve user issues related to platform functionality and account managementDocument and escalate technical issues to development and product teamAssist in creating and maintaining support documentation, release notes and FAQsUser Experience EnhancementConduct usability testing to identify areas for improvement in user experienceCollaborate with product and design teams to address user feedback and implement enhancementsStay updated on industry best practices and emerging trends to contribute to the platforms continuous improvementCollaborationWork closely with cross-functional teams to understand project requirements and changes.Participate in agile development processes, providing feedback during sprint planning and reviews. Qualifications:Bachelor's degree Proven experience in quality assurance or technical support rolesUnderstanding of testing methodologies, tools and best practicesExperience in providing technical support to end-usersProficiency in automated testing tools and scripting languagesExcellent communication and collaboration skillsPreferred Qualifications:Familiarity with web and mobile application testingKnowledge of data flow and solutions Data Layer, Google Tag Manager, Google Analytics, Big Query, Exposure to agile development methodologies Pay: $60,000 - $75,000Why Join Us?Lee Enterprises offers competitive wages in a dynamic, interesting work environment with career growth opportunities.
