Assist in all areas of operation of the Distribution Center (DC) and distribute newspapers to independent contract carriers and bundle haulers. This includes all print products and any ancillary products, such as USA Today. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned. Assist the Operations Manager or Distribution Manager with all areas of DC operations.Assist in distributing bundles, other products, and carrier supplies at DC.Transport and unload papers & products as needed.Operation of DC in the absence of other staff.Delivery of products/supplies to other facilities as needed.Clean and maintain DC.Other Duties as assigned.Available as needed for early mornings every day of the week.Delivers foot, motor, or single copy routes as assigned.Knowledge of market area.Work well with other personnel and independent contractors.Demonstrates a passion for providing quality customer service.Complete delivery before the deadline when able.Placing products in a convenient location.Protecting product from the elements.Ensure all interactions with subscribers are positive.Customer Service – Responds promptly to customer needs.
