News Coordinator

The Quad-City Times and Dispatch-Argus, daily publications in the Quad-Cities, are seeking a news coordinator to help our newsroom excel in a competitive media market of nearly 385,000 people.

The news coordinator will synthesize incoming communications via phone and email and distribute those as needed, process submitted content and turn releases into stories.

The news coordinator works full-time and is a central figure in this award-winning newsroom.

Organizational and people skills are a must for this position. A journalism degree is not required. The news coordinator will work out of the Davenport, Iowa, newsroom, which serves both the Quad-City Times and Dispatch-Argus.
