Responsibilities:

  • Operate heavy equipment safely, efficiently, and within the provided scope of work (excavators, loaders, skid steers, etc.)
  • Perform daily maintenance and inspections on heavy equipment
  • Help other crew members when not operating equipment 
  • Maintain heavy equipment safety compliance as regulated by OSHA

Requirements:

  • A minimum of 5 years’ experience operating equipment in demolition, foundation excavation, trenching, grading, and backfilling operations
  • Ability to operate an excavator, skid steer, front end loader, roller, excavator mounted demo-hammers, bulldozers etc.
  • Possess a full understanding of OSHA compliance regulations (i.e. excavation sloping, shoring, benching, egress)
  • Experience with pile driving and Earth retention a plus
  • Previous experience with underground work and site work a plus
  • Prior experience driving a Lowboy and/or gravel train is a plus
  • Valid Driver's License required; CDL-A License preferred
