Looking for individuals who can occasionally work special events including DJ nights, Karaoke nights and concerts. Also need server/bartenders for weekends and some evenings. Must be 21 years old to bartend.

Only applicants experienced in making mixed drinks and pouring beer and wine will be considered. Resume must include documentation of these skills.

Pay is $2.13 per hour plus tips which equals $12 - $18 hour.

Education: Must be able to read, write, and speak clearly, listen attentively, and understand the primary language used in the workplace.

Experience: Previous experience in customer food and alcoholic beverage service. This experience must include making mixed drinks as well as pouring beer and wine. Organization and time management skills, knowledge of steps of service.

Physical: Must be able to bend, stoop, lift, and carry items weighing up to 30 pounds on a regular basis. Must be able to stand for long periods of time. Must possess visual acuity and communication ability of both a verbal and written.

TASKS AND COMPETENCIES:

- Complies with all portion sizes, quality standards, employee rules, policies and procedures. Displays a positive and enthusiastic approach to all assignments. Completes shift work, as assigned, in accordance with company standards.

- Correctly sets-up bar/service area at start of shift. Reviews information regarding price changes and specials.

- Makes sure work station is properly stocked prior to opening/shift beginning, and replenishes items as necessary throughout the shift. Checks bar for proper presentation, completeness, and cleanliness.

- Cleans and sanitizes bar work station during shift and at shift completion.

- Communicates clearly and efficiently to food production personnel, receives information and feedback from them on their needs, and takes action based on observation and information received.

- Graciously greets all customers as they enter the bar area.

- Takes food and beverage orders from guests. Is informed of all menu items and drink selections.

- Is competent at verifying identification required to purchase alcoholic beverages.

- Can multi-task, displays sense of urgency when waiting on guests.

- Makes alcoholic beverages to management specifications, directly for guests or for service bar.

- Makes alcoholic drinks in appropriate glassware and garnishes correctly.

- Observes guests to make sure that they are satisfied with food and beverages. Immediately addresses and corrects any problems.

- Is aware of any problems which arise and reports them to management immediately.

- Makes cash and credit card transactions. Completes end of shift banking and cash out.

- Interacts in a friendly manner with all guests seated at bar.
