REMOTE IMPLEMENTATION CONSULTANT

This Implementation Consultant position earns a salary of $70,000 - $80,000/year. ABOUT LEDGERGURUS

Founded in 2014, we are a remote, virtual outsourced accounting firm that specializes in eCommerce accounting. Small and medium-sized businesses hire us to become their accounting department or to work with their existing finance team. Last year, we added our Inventory Solutions team which helps eCommerce companies manage their inventory. This remote team helps businesses set up an Inventory Management System (IMS) that is right for their business, and then helps maintain the inventory accounting after application.

A DAY IN THE LIFE OF A REMOTE IMPLEMENTATION CONSULTANT

This employee will own the client relationship before, during and after the implementation of the IMS. They will analyze the client’s existing inventory process, answer questions, teach best inventory practices, troubleshoot, provide technical support, and implement the IMS within the client’s business. They may travel to the company’s work site in various locations. This employee will use their background in inventory accounting and workflows to understand how the system should work and communicate those accurate numbers to our internal accounting teams. This Implementation Consultant will also use their supply chain management knowledge to understand how inventory goods flow through the system. This is a fast paced, client-focused role, where the employee will need an understanding of inventory systems like Katana, Cin7 Core, Finale, Luminous (or be able to pick them up quickly), and an awareness of eCommerce systems such as Shopify, Amazon, Woohoo, etc.

QUALIFICATIONS FOR A REMOTE INVENTORY IMPLEMENTATION CONSULTANT

• Bachelors Degree in Accounting, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or Information Systems required (or comparable experience).
• Expert in Excel

Several years in inventory management and several years of warehouse management experience is preferred. Experience in an advisory role would be a major plus. To be successful in this role, a person would need to have fantastic communication and people skills, as well as the ability to trouble shoot processes and software effectively.
