Ledgent Finance & Accounting is Hiring a Billing specialist Near Dover, NH

Job Description

Ledgent Finance and Accounting has an immediate opening for an experienced Billing Specialist in Dover, NH.

Location : Dover, NH (On-Site)

Role : Billing Specialist (Temp-Hire or Direct Hire)

Pay : $24-$26 / hour

Premise : As a Billing Specialist, you are responsible for accurate preparation of invoices, settlements and collecting AR.

Primary Duties :

  • Update and maintain client billing records, apply payments, and transfer payments between accounts.
  • Ensure timely set up and communication of new client matters.
  • Review pre-bills in response to company requests.
  • Process bills by verifying accuracy of supporting documentation.
  • Work closely with team on collections of clients past due balances
  • Compile data and prepare a variety of reports as needed.

Requirements :

  • Ability to meet deadlines.
  • Associate degree and 2 years of experience preferred
  • Customer-centric approach
  • High attention to detail
  • Proficiency in Word, Excel, and Outlook
  • Professional services experience accounting experience a plus
