A growing manufacturer is seeking a Lead Mill Operator for their first shift team in Amherst, NH. You’ll play an important role in ensuring the company can produce high-quality parts used in the aerospace, medical, gas, and irrigation industries.

Responsibilities of the Lead Mill Operator

• Train, schedule, and support operators
• Ensure all production areas have everything necessary to maximize quality and production
• Ensure mill startup readiness (materials available, issues flagged and addressed)
• Set up and prioritize production scheduling
• Learn to operate all machines in the mill department
• Troubleshoot difficult programs
• Operate forklift
• Deliver completed product to molding facility
• Foster a neat, safe, collaborative work environment
• Perform additional tasks as assigned or required

Qualifications of the Lead Mill Operator

• Strong communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills
• Ability to operate machinery and forklift
• Effective time management, organizational, and multitasking skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Must have a valid driver’s license and proof of auto insurance
