Estimating Manager Our manufacturing client is seeking an Estimating Manager! This full-time, direct-hire role is responsible for overseeing the entire estimating process and coaching the team to ensure timely, accurate quotes for customers. Responsibilities of the Estimating Manager

• Manage, train, motivate, and monitor performance of estimating team
• Prepare accurate pricing of estimates with the proper level of detail, including labor, material, and subcontract items
• Work with customers and sales throughout quoting process
• Assist in the development of KPIs for team
• Perform additional tasks and projects as required

Qualifications of the Estimating Manager

• Great attention to detail
• Ability to quickly address customer issues and clearly communicate customer expectations into RFQs
• Strong communication, interpersonal, and relationship-building skills
• Ability to read blueprints and understanding of measuring equipment
• Familiarity with CAD, SolidWorks, or similar design software
• Ability to work with a computerized sales system (Salesforce/CRM preferred)
