The Opportunity

Leavitt Machinery is looking for a Parts Warehouse Person to join our team in Tukwila, Washington. As the Parts Warehouse Person, you will be responsible for accurately processing incoming goods and outgoing orders in a timely manner, as well as ensuring all goods are neatly and accurately stored.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

As the Parts Warehouse Person your key responsibilities will include:

• Receiving and verifying shipments from carrier
• Generating receiving reports for incoming stock orders
• Stocking goods received, ensuring items are placed in the correct bin location
• Filing vendor packing slips and carrier waybill copies
• Receiving inter-branch stock transfers
• Processing credits
• Pulling items listed on order from inventory
• Notifying sales staff of any inventory discrepancies
• Contacting carrier to request pickup
• Answering branch inquiries regarding orders
• Maintaining cleanliness of warehouse
• Maintaining all stocking locations, ensuring stock is organized in a neat and orderly manner
• Ensuring all stock is assigned to the correct bin location
• Performing inventory counts, and investigating inventory discrepancies
• Additional duties as may be assigned as needed

Required Skills & Qualifications

The ideal candidate will possess the following skills, knowledge, and competencies:

• High school diploma is required
• Previous work experience in a warehouse / parts environment is an asset
• Mechanical experience working with machinery is an asset
• Basic computer skills using Microsoft Office Suite and ERP systems
• Comfortable working with imposed deadlines

The base pay range for this role is: $20.21 to $24.33 per hour.
