Delaware North's Patina Restaurant Group is hiring a full-time Food and Beverage Supervisor to join our team at Leatherby's Cafe Rouge in Costa Mesa, California. As a Food and Beverage Supervisor, you will be responsible for ensuring the highest levels of service is provided to our guests.

Responsibilities 

  • Day to day supervision of the food and beverage operation including directing and coordinating all activities.
  • Lead, train, coach and manage the performance of a team of food and beverage associates.
  • Ensure efficient operation of department, staffing, training.
  • Participates in weekly/monthly inventories.
  • Role can be in any of the food and beverage outlets -based on business need, one area may be the primary focus.
  • Coordinate and supervise the execution of all restaurant party, banquet, and special event functions.
  • Operates all department equipment as necessary and reports malfunction.
  • Encourages and builds mutual trust, respect, and cooperation among team members.
  • Develops specific goals and plans to prioritize, organize, and accomplish your work.
  • Communicates areas that need attention to staff and follows up to ensure understanding.
  • Coordinates cleaning program in all F&B areas, identifying trends and making recommendation for improvements.
  • Stays readily available/ approachable for all team members.
  • Provides services that are above and beyond for customer satisfaction and retention.
  • Takes proactive approaches when dealing with guest concerns.

Qualifications 

  • Minimum of 2 years progressive experience in a high-volume upscale restaurant.
  • Previous supervisor experience within a restaurant or catering food and beverage environment.
  • Knowledge of Food, Wine, and other beverages.
  • Strong hospitality skills with an outgoing personality.
  • Ability to work flexible schedule including weekends and holidays.
  • California Food Handler’s certification.
  •  Effective management, leadership, organizational, and communication skills.

Physical Requirements 

  • Ability to lift or carry 50 lbs
  • Ability to stand or walk for extended periods of time
