Learning Tree Tutors LLC is Hiring a Private Tutor Near Dallas, TX

We are currently seeking several dedicated and experienced private tutor to provide personalized education and support to students in Dallas, Texas. As a private tutor, you will work independently with students, offering in-person instruction and guidance in various subjects.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide one-on-one tutoring sessions to students based on their individual needs and academic goals.
  • Develop and implement personalized lesson plans and teaching strategies.
  • Assess students' strengths and weaknesses to tailor instruction accordingly.
  • Help students improve their study skills, organization, and time management.
  • Monitor students' progress and provide constructive feedback to students, parents and Learning Tree Tutors.
  • Collaborate with parents and teachers to create a supportive learning environment.
  • Stay updated on the latest educational techniques and resources.

Requirements:

  • Previous experience working with children, preferably in a tutoring or teaching role at any level k-12th grade.
  • Excellent knowledge of the subjects/level you will be tutoring (e.g., math, ELA, science, social studies, etc.).
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills to establish rapport with students and parents.
  • Patience, empathy, and the ability to adapt teaching methods to suit different learning styles.
  • Reliable transportation to travel to students' homes or agreed-upon meeting locations within Dallas.
  • Availability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends, based on students' schedules.
  • Access to a computer and internet connection for occasional remote work (e.g., lesson planning, communication with parents, etc.).
