Essential Duties & Functions
- Clean and sanitize bathrooms, fixtures, floors, counters, showers.
- Vacuum and/or sweep floors and carpets.
- Empty trash cans and receptacles.
- Replenish supplies in client rooms, common areas and high traffic areas.
- Clean and dust woodwork, doorways, etc.
- Identify and rotate all housekeeping supplies such as paper towels, soap, trash bags, MSDS/Chemicals and their uses.
- Receive, document and store inventory as needed.
- Maintain current knowledge of relevant OSHA regulations and compliance.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Must possess knowledge of basic housekeeping tools, materials, and MSDS sheets, including familiarity with standard safety practices and the identification of hazardous conditions, to provide a safe work environment.
- Competence in writing, planning, organization and documentation, as well as time management skills are required.
- The ability to communicate effectively with families, professionals, clients, and co-workers is necessary.
