Learning Services, a Collage Rehabilitation Partner is seeking a Full Time and Part Time Neuobehavioral Tech (NBT) to join our team for our facilities in Lilburn, GA. For more than 35 years, we’ve developed programs to meet the diverse needs of clients with moderate to severe traumatic and acquired brain injuries. We provide treatment for post-concussion syndrome, stroke, memory loss, neurobehavioral issues and accident or sports-related head injuries.

Schedule: Monday - Friday 3pm-11pm and occasional weekends

Pay: $14.00 per hour and increase based off of experience and education

Responsibilities

We are searching for Full Time and Part Time Neurobehavioral Techs to work in our residential programs located in Lilburn, GA. The Neurobehavioral tech provides direct care services to persons with disabilities who are consumers of Learning Services. Encompassed within the direct care services is the delivery of behavioral training designed to modify the consumer’s behavior. These services are delivered continuously throughout the working day. These services may take place in the facility or in the community, and encompass activities related to all aspects of daily living. Neurobehavioral techs participates in observing, reporting and recording client behaviors while under the direct supervision of the Shift Coordinator. Responsible for providing a safe and secure environment for all clients and staff. Must be in compliance with facility policies and procedures.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree preferred or minimum of High School degree

  • Previous experience working in a behavioral based program, which utilized a facility wide behavioral approach as well as individual behavioral programming.
  • Previous experience in a facility designed to meet the needs of person’s with challenging behaviors, which may include psychiatric facilities, neurobehavioral rehabilitation settings and group homes
  • A working understanding of behavioral analysis and experience working with a team to design behavioral protocols.
  • Experience in data collection, data summary, token economy programming and behavior program implementation.
  • Ability to communicate with customers, team members and the community very effectively and professionally.
  • Able to lift fifty (50) pounds unassisted.
  • Maintain valid Driver’s license.
  • Criminal Record check and clearance, including finger printing.
  • Driving record check and clearance
