- Mentor! Be responsible for, or assisting with, the management, training, and mentoring of new hires and your fellow Teachers, as you create fun, interactive learning experiences to share with the preschool children.
- Leader! Take on the duties of Director or Assistant Director in his/her absence, including opening and closing the school.
- Expert! Ensure the daily care of every child by following all licensing guidelines and implementing all company standards.
- Experience in a licensed childcare facility, leading a classroom, and implementing lesson plans.
- Able to work indoors or outdoors and engage in physical activity with children.
- The ability to meet state and/or accreditation requirements for education and experience. Must meet one of the below requirements:
Option 2: A child development associate credential and one year of teaching experience in licensed centers or preschools, or supervised practicum in licensed centers or preschools;
Option 3: (A) An associate of arts degree or a two-year certificate in child development; and (B) one year of teaching experience in licensed centers or preschools, or a supervised practicum in licensed centers or preschools;
Option 4: (A) An A.B. or B.S. degree in child development or early childhood education, including a supervised practicum; and 60 (B) three months' teaching experience in licensed centers or preschools.
