Overview:
We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Daycare Teacher to join our team. As a Daycare Teacher, you will play a crucial role in providing a safe and nurturing environment for children to learn and grow. If you have a passion for early childhood development and enjoy working with children, we would love to hear from you. This position would be our closing position working 3:00 PM to 6:00 PM Monday to Friday. This position is flexible and the hours can be adjusted to an individuals schedule. This position could include more hours if an individual would like more hours. We are a daycare center with a family feel! Our staff works closely with one another with positive attitudes. We work together to make a great work environment.
Responsibilities:
- Create a positive and engaging classroom environment for children
- Develop and implement age-appropriate lesson plans and activities
- Provide individualized attention and support to each child
- Foster social, emotional, cognitive, and physical development in children
- Maintain open communication with parents regarding their child's progress
- Ensure the safety and well-being of all children in the daycare facility
- Manage behavior effectively using positive reinforcement techniques
- Collaborate with other daycare staff to create a cohesive learning environment

Skills:
- Caregiving: Ability to provide nurturing care and support to children in a daycare setting.
- Infant care: Experience in caring for infants, including feeding, diapering, and soothing.
- Babysitting: Previous experience in babysitting or childcare is advantageous.
- Educate: Ability to educate young children through creative and interactive teaching methods.
- Classroom management: Proficient in maintaining order and positive reinforcement within the classroom.
- Daycare experience: Familiarity with the routines and requirements of a daycare setting.
- Behavior management: Skillful in managing challenging behaviors and promoting positive behavior.
- Experience working with students: Previous experience working with students or children is preferred.
- Childhood development: Understanding of child development milestones and appropriate activities.
