LEARN has full time openings for energetic Intervention Specialists in our ABA and ED and classrooms at our new Ocean Avenue LEARNing Academy in New London. This paraprofessional position supports the educational and behavioral development of Special Education students with ASD, working with a dedicated classroom team to provide instructional support, student monitoring and data collection. Training in Safety Care techniques is provided.

Qualifications: Level 1: Intervention Specialist: Minimum Education Requirement: High School Diploma and hold Parapro certification. Experience working with children with autism or emotional/behavioral challenges and their families preferred. Experience in ABA programs preferred.

Level 2: Minimum of a Associates Degree or two years of college (equaling 60 credits or more) or hold current Registered Behavior Tech and Parapro certifications. Experience working with children with autism or emotional/behavioral challenges and their families preferred.
