POSITION SUMMARY:

This position will play a key role in coordinating the execution of marketing programs that promote the sale of collegiate licensed product, both locally and nationally, for institutions within our Core Marketing Solutions program. Effective communication, time management and a high work ethic is necessary for this role and the team around it to be successful.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: 

  • Work cooperatively in a team environment to serve the marketing needs of our Core Marketing Solutions schools.
  • Coordinate marketing projects upon inception ensuring proper execution to meet goals, on time and within budget, effectively utilize internal project management system to accurately track and communicate all project updates with internal team
  • Serve as the internal primary point-of-contact with Production and Creative teams
  • Manage invoice process for projects and communicate budget status to team
  • Track client participation and manage communication regarding all national marketing programs
  • Assist with the collection of performance data, images and other assets for use in marketing campaign recaps both for internal and external use
  • Assist with amassing research and other data across various consumer demographics
  • Research industry marketing trends to be able to effectively contribute during the concept development phase
  • Actively participate in territory or client meetings by providing pertinent updates of areas of responsibility to Marketing, Partnerships and/or directly to clients as needed
  • Assist in the brainstorming and idea development phase to meet client goals
  • Occasional overnight travel by car and plane (approximately 5% of the year) will be needed to manage execution of projects

SKILLS:

  • Bachelor's degree
  • One to three years of professional marketing experience preferred
  • Ability to professionally and effectively communicate in writing and verbally to those with a wide range of skill levels and varying position levels within the business
  • Ability to design and deliver presentations
  • A high degree of integrity and trust in interpersonal interactions
  • A passion for serving and helping others
  • Outstanding multitasking skills
  • Ability to manage multiple deadlines and lead in an environment of constant change
  • Ability to think strategically
