Position Description
TITLE OF POSITION: Product Management Coordinator
REPORTS TO: Vice President of Product Management

DESCRIPTION OF DUTIES
Join our Product Development Team as our Product Management Coordinator and make an immediate impact on our trusted brands: Leanin’ Tree, Celebration Greetings, and our new venture, Willow & Ivy Press. Together, we create greeting cards that help people make meaningful connections in all life’s special occasions and treasured moments. Work Location: Boulder, CO (but relocating to Mead, CO in October 2024).
What you will be doing:
We are looking for a passionate Product Development Coordinator who is excited about launching new products in the social expressions industry! This position will support the launch process for all new products for our brands. The ideal candidate will have a background in product development within a creative environment, is art and design obsessed, and thrives in a fast-paced, hands-on environment with a can-do attitude and attention to detail.
  • Supports the Product Managers through the product development process, learning all procedures in how we review art, words, and design for our products.
  • Maintains the day-to-day operational aspects of the new product development projects, delivering tasks in a quick and timely manner, participates in brainstorms, has a passion for art, design, and the greeting card category, and is in tune with both consumer and competitor activity.
  • Tracks and reviews art submissions, participates with Product Managers in helping select art and editorial, participates in daily product proofing sessions, and maintains, updates and edits product development documents in shared drive.
  • Reviews finished product proofs and interacts with artists and writers to obtain design approvals on time.
  • Assists with Artist Relations in maintaining professional relationships with all freelance artists and designers for our greeting card and gift product collections.
  • Communicates with other departments to assist in gathering information or troubleshooting issues for the product team.
  • Assists the product team with various administrative tasks as required, such as reporting, scheduling and coordination with other departments.

  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks, projects, and workload.

  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Friendly, enthusiastic, and eager to learn and contribute.
  • Ability to learn quickly and become knowledgeable of the brands, products, and company systems/processes.
Skills needed to be successful in this role:
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Excellent organizational skills.
  • Proactive and self-motivated individual with a passion for product development in the greeting card, social stationery, and gift categories.
Minimum Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in marketing, graphic design, or another creative field.
  • 2 years in the social expressions or gift industries, preferably in product development.
  • Authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis.
Salary and Benefits:
  • Min $20.00/hr - $30.00/hr depending upon experience.
