QUALIFICATIONS:
Must be at least 18 years of age
Preferred to have at least 1 year of caregiving experience with the senior population
Must have sufficient communication and language skills to effectively perform duties
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Execute client care plans and document daily activities
Assist clients with activities of daily living
Provide clients with household assistance: food preparation, monitoring home safety, laundering, light housekeeping
Provide clients with personal care assistance: hygienic care, mobility assistance, medication assistance, companionship
REQUIREMENTS:
Experience: One year of formal caregiving experience in senior care
Negative drug screen, cleared background screening and work-related references as part of the onboarding process
Negative TB test completed in last 12 months
BLS/CPR/First Aid certifications
Certified Caregiver - Currently Active
Reliable Transportation
WORKING ENVIRONMENT:
Client homes
Skilled, Independent and Assisted Living Communities
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
Able to lift 50 lbs. using safe, ergonomic movements
Able to stand, walk, reach, crouch, use hands and fingers
Able to talk, hear and see
Physically and mentally able to drive a vehicle
COMPENSATION:
Job Type: Full-time/Part-time
Pay: Starting at $16/hr, depending on experience
