The Packaging Control Supervisor requires a hands-on approach to assist in shaping the culture of Trulieve. The Packaging Inventory Control Specialist will maintain the Packaging inventory, ensures the company inventory remains balanced, receive and stock products into the MPPT / PKG cages.

Also maintains accurate records of all procurements. Implement processes to maintain and control inventory daily. Reports to Packaging Manager.

Key Responsibilities

  • Counts inventory daily for official records. Conducts frequent spot and partial audits of physical inventory.
  • Manage inventory team
  • Maintains logs of all products and accurate daily records of goods located in MPPT / PKG and FG.
  • Compare physical inventory to computerized records.
  • Reports any discrepancies in inventory records. Pulls any defective or expired merchandise.
  • Receives products from Oil Production.
  • Stock inventory into MPPT cages.
  • Ensure Materials are in stock for product inventory in MPPT / PKG cages
  • Order boxes for material
  • Organize inventory in stock cage. Moves and restructures organization of stock- cage to make space for new inventory.
  • Uses SAP software to keep track of inventory holds, delta and attainments.
  • Send inventory reports to Supervisor and management.
  • Ensures area is clean and well organized.
  • Retrieves products from MPPT cage for packaging team.
  • Review shipping and receiving documents (Order Guide) for accuracy and inventory availability.
  • Assist Packaging team in devising new ways to reduce shrink and maintain inventory control.
  • Generate daily SAP cycle count reports.
  • Assess inventory reports.
  • Assists with monthly physical inventory audits.
  • Support Packaging and other area during shortfalls and downtime
  • Operates forklift truck when necessary and certified
  • Performs other related duties as requested.

  • Must be at least 21 years of age (State Law)

  • Proficient keyboarding skills.

Education

  • Must be a minimum of 21 years of age
  • Must successfully complete a comprehensive background screening
  • Experience in a warehouse setting.
  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Experience with computerized inventory systems preferred.
  • Forklift operator certification preferred.
  • Six months on the job training

Experience

  • Excellent written and oral communication skills. Must have the ability to read, analyze and interpret regulations and other documents.
  • Adaptable to a variety of assignments and settings; ability to communicate well with top corporate officials and all levels of managers, supervisors, and drivers.
  • Able to work independently for long periods without direct supervision and be able to keep supervisors informed of status and progress.

ADDITIONAL MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS :

  • Florida Driver's License or ability to obtain one.
  • Must be a minimum of 21 years of age.
  • Must be and remain compliant with all legal or company regulations for working in the cannabis industry.
  • Must be able to pass a comprehensive background check.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS :

  • Must be able to push, pull, move, and / or lift a minimum of 50lbs to a minimum height of 5 feet and able to push, pull, move, and / or carry such weight a minimum distance of 50 feet, with or without mechanical assistance
  • Must be able to work seated / standing as appropriate at workstations for extended periods of time, maintain body equilibrium while climbing ladders, stairways, stopping, kneeling, crouching, and reaching, and use hands / fingers to hold, grasp, turn, pick, pinch frequently / constantly to complete tasks
  • Must be able to handle organic matter daily, able to wear PPE as appropriate (eye, face, hand, arm, head, foot, body, fall protection), and able to be exposed to hot, cold, wet, humid, or windy conditions while wearing PPE (95 degrees or greater)
  • Must have visual acuity with / without job aids to perform activities such as; reading, viewing a computer terminal, visual inspection involving small parts / details.

Clarity of vision at 20 ft or more in day and night / dark conditions

  • Must be able to speak and communicate verbally at conversation levels with co-workers, vendors, etc. (Moderate noise)
  • Prolonged periods of standing and lifting.
  • Must be able to lift 40 to 50 pounds at times.
  • Must be able to navigate MPPT Cage and reach items both high and low.
  • Physical labor, specifically the lifting of heavy items, is required daily.
  • Pulling and lifting are required
  • Repetitive use of hands

WORK SCHEDULE :

40 hours weekly with flexible hours depending on department needs. Must be available to work occasional evenings, weekends, and holidays
