Position: Supply Chain Manager - Cannabis Retailer

Location: White Plains, Westchester, New York

As we continue to expand our operations, we are seeking a dynamic and experienced Supply Chain Manager to join our team and drive efficiency and optimization across our supply chain processes.

Job Description:

As the Supply Chain Manager at Leafology, you will play a pivotal role in overseeing inventory management, procurement, and manage vendor relationship. Reporting directly to the Director of Operations, you will be responsible for managing the end-to-end supply chain process, ensuring timely delivery of products, managing sell-through metrics, while maintaining compliance with regulatory requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

Strategic Planning:

Develop and implement strategic initiatives to optimize the supply chain process, minimize costs, and enhance efficiency.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to forecast demand, plan inventory levels, and mitigate supply chain risks.

Supplier Management:

Establish and maintain relationships with suppliers, ensuring timely delivery of high-quality cannabis products while negotiating favorable terms and pricing.

Conduct supplier performance evaluations and implement improvement strategies to drive continuous enhancement.

Inventory Management:

Oversee inventory levels, including procurement, storage, and distribution of cannabis products.

Utilize Dutchie and MSFT Excel to track inventory levels, monitor product expiration dates, and minimize product shortages or excess.

Compliance and Regulatory Affairs:

Ensure compliance with local and state regulations governing the procurement, transportation, and storage of cannabis products.

Process Improvement:

Identify opportunities for process improvement and optimization within the supply chain, leveraging data analytics and performance metrics.

Lead initiatives to streamline workflows, reduce lead times, and enhance overall operational efficiency.

Team Leadership:

Provide leadership and mentorship to the supply chain team, fostering a culture of collaboration, accountability, and continuous improvement.

Set clear goals and performance targets, and provide regular feedback and coaching to drive employee development and engagement.

Qualifications:

Minimum of 5 years of experience in supply chain management, preferably within the cannabis industry or a regulated environment.

Strong understanding of supply chain principles, logistics, and inventory management practices.

Knowledge of regulatory requirements governing the cannabis industry (e.g., seed-to-sale tracking, compliance with state and local regulations).

Proven track record of strategic planning, supplier management, and process improvement initiatives.

Excellent communication, negotiation, and leadership skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across departments and levels of the organization.

Proficiency in Dutchie, and Microsoft Office Suite.
