Title: Procurement Agent

Location: Rosemead, CA & Pomona, CA (Hybrid, 1 day a week. Could increase to multiple days a week depending on workload.)

Duration: 6-month contract with possibilities of extension.

Rate: $35-40/hr

Day-to-Day Responsibilities/ Workload:

• Maintain consistent interaction with suppliers and ensure adherence to established contracts.

• Integrate work across relevant areas, developing strategies to enhance productivity, manage information and provide exceptional service to internal and external stakeholders.

• Assess work activities for consolidation opportunities.

• Develop metrics to monitor area of responsibility, gaps and implementing action plans to remediate.

• Execute Purchase Orders, Change Orders, and Request for Proposals across various categories.

• Lead contract management and supplier dispute resolution.

• Current team size is 2-3 and growing up to 5-7.

• This is a learn as you go, sink or swim environment, someone who is a self-starter, go getter, self-driven will be the most successful.

• IT Project Implementation background is required; will be managing a portfolio of projects. Implementing NEXT

• GEN - moving to the cloud.

• Procurement IT background is required.

• Procuring RFP

• Negotiating with service providers.

• Securing the contracts.

• RFP/NDA exp.

• Purchase orders, change orders exp.

• Knows how to analyze data, v-look ups, pivot tables.

• Knows how to put together presentations via PowerPoint and deliver presentations.

• 5-7 years’ experience

• Must have: Ariba, SAP, PowerPoint, Excel, SAS, ON PREM, Cloud exp.

• Soft skills: knows how to keep composure.

• Professionally knows how to push back and stand ground.

• Ask questions, knows how to peel the onion back.

• Feels comfortable having a voice and knowing when to speak up.

• Go getter, can do attitude!
