Job Overview

The Administrative Coordinator is responsible for campus clerical and administrative tasks. They create and implement procedures to ensure the campus operates smoothly and efficiently. Additionally, the Administrative Coordinator serves as a point-of-contact internally between campus staff and externally with customers and community partners. This role is full-time, year-round position which includes the academic year and summer.

Responsibilities & Duties:
  • Answers and routes phone calls, voicemails, and emails
  • Performs all necessary office tasks to prepare the campus for upcoming classes
  • Oversees customer intake
  • Records and reports weekly book, supply, and outreach inventory
  • Brainstorms, organizes, and oversees in-reach and outreach events
  • Seeks out community partners and events
  • Hires, trains, and supervises part-time front desk staff
  • Manages the in-reach and outreach budget
  • Other tasks and responsibilities, as assigned
Required / Preferred Skills and Experience:
  • Some postsecondary education preferred
  • Experience in administrative support and customer service
  • Strong task and time management skills
  • Committed to achieving organizational consistency and efficiency
  • Exceptional interpersonal, written, and verbal communication expertise
  • Proficiency with office technology and equipment
Work Schedule

AoPS Academy is an after-school program; most of our classes and family meetings occur during the evenings and on weekends. As such, it's expected that Administrative Coordinators work a nontraditional schedule during the academic year. Summer hours typically shift to a more standard Monday to Friday work schedule.

This position includes a competitive starting salary of $63,000 ($30.29 per hour), and an annual bonus based on campus performance.
