Your Impact
As a Manufacturing Technician, you will be responsible for repairing assemblies and supporting manufacturing lines, performing preventive maintenance, quality testing, data gathering, filling out non-conformance reports, and supporting the engineering team and QA department as needed.
What You’ll Do
Reports to: Technician Supervisor
• Assemble, install, repair, and maintain electronic components and systems.
• Perform preventative maintenance on production test equipment and subsystems.
• Provide feedback to Manufacturing Engineering, R&D, Training, and Quality teams regarding failure modes and frequency.
• Directly support the manufacturing line to meet daily and monthly goals.
• Visually inspect, test, and assemble components or subassemblies using approved assembly procedures.
• Use a computer to perform testing, download information or record test data.
• Use hand tools, machine tools and various types of equipment to assemble and test products.
• Transact materials within ERP system.
• Promote a continuous improvement environment by looking for more efficient ways to perform daily duties.
• Communicate effectively and work under pressure with minimal supervision.
• Take initiative in a fast-paced, high-volume environment.
• Solve problems or identify issues and assist in resolutions.
• Make reasonable decisions and escalate accordingly.
• Understand and comply with all ESD requirements.
• Promotes a safe work environment by adhering to all safety requirements.
What You Bring
• 1-6 years of experience in electronics manufacturing
• Knowledge of electromechanical systems
• Ability to read and interpret written instructions.
• Ability to use DMM.
• Solder experience: IPC J-Standard Certified is preferred but not required.
• Ability to troubleshoot and solder with 10X or greater magnification.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Basic computer skills.
• Ability to work within a team.

Physical Demands
Ability to sit, stand, walk, climb, bend, push, carry, etc. for 10 hours at a time; ability to lift 20lbs
unaided; ability to ascend and descend stairs; ability to grasp and use small parts; ability to
occasionally kneel, crouch, bend as required to perform tasks; etc.
Work Environment
Within the Axon manufacturing facility, employees may be exposed to manufacturing noise,
ambient temperatures, close quarters, hazards associated with working around moving machinery, exposure to vibrations and industrial lighting, etc.
Personal Protective Equipment
Personal protective equipment (PPE) will be provided by Axon and may be required when a job task(s) is being completed in or around your assigned department or in another department, this includes but is not limited to, safety eyewear, hearing protection, and safety footwear.
Employees are required to apply ergonomic correctness to all job tasks to the fullest extent possible.
Starting Salary
$24.00 - $27.50 (DOE)
This is a safety sensitive position for which impairment while working presents substantial risk of injury so the company will be testing for THC.
