Director of Medical Surgical Renal Transplant Unit
We are searching for a motivated leader for the Director of Medical Surgical Renal Transplant Unit position for a well-known health organization in EL Paso, Texas!
Job Summary
The Director is responsible for the care given to patients within the unit; day to day departmental operations and productivity; future development and budgetary projections for the service line. The Director ensures the unit maintains the highest degree of efficiency and safety in providing quality care in the unit including quality improvement, staff competency, inventory control and cost containment, patient satisfaction, staff satisfaction, and physician satisfaction. The Director collaborates and coordinates with efforts of the unit staff to accomplish the mission of the facility. The Director leads by example and holds others accountable for adhering to the goals, policies, and procedures of unit and facility.
Minimum Qualifications:

• Basic Cardiac Life Support
• Registered Nurse
• Associate Degree, or Bachelors Degree, or Registered Nurse Diploma
Current RN licensure in Texas or compact state
• -Required
• Note: ANCC Orthopedic Nurse Certifications are required within three years of hire date.
• Note: PALS is required within one year of hire date.
• Note: ACLS is required within six month of hire date.
• ANCC Orthopedic Nurse Certifications

MUST HAVE RENAL EXPERIENCE
MUST HAVE LEADERSHIP MEDSURG/RENAL EXPERIENCE IN AN ACUTE CARE SETTING
Salary Base: $130K
