Leaders of Tomorrow Learning Academy is Hiring a Public School Grant Coordinator Near Austell, GA

Summary

The Grant Writer Coordinator coordinates with internal and external stakeholders to research grant opportunities and submits grants that are concise and competitive, to secure local, state and federal funding to support the division’s goals and objectives.


Grants and Communications coordinator will help develop and implement the strategy for all communications, website, and public relations messages and collateral to consistently articulate LOTLA mission. This role is responsible for marketing LOTLA services and overall mission. Goals for this position include growing annual grant revenue, implementing marketing and communications plans, and supporting the overall growth of LOTLA business development and philanthropic footprint.

Duties
  • Research funding opportunities, develop/write grant proposals, and cultivate relationships with grant-making organizations.
  • Develop and implement a comprehensive grant-seeking strategy aligned with the Whitefoord's mission and objectives including increasing Whitefoord’s grant revenue.
  • Write compelling grant proposals and applications that effectively communicate Whitefoord's mission, goals, and impact.
  • Collaborate with program managers and other team members to gather data and information needed for grant proposals.
  • Prepare and submit timely grant reports to funders, highlighting program accomplishments and outcomes.
  • Assists Senior Director of Development as needed with the following development-related tasks including but not limited to event planning and execution, donor acknowledgement letters, and donor platform management.
Requirements

Bachelor’s Degree in English, journalism, communications, marketing, education or related field required

· Two years of experience in grant planning, finance, developing grant budgets and proposals, and adhering to program compliance for an educational institution

· Three years of experience with Microsoft Office Suite and Google Drive

· Excellent communication (verbal and written) and presentation skills and the ability to interact with internal and external stakeholders.

· Ability to effectively plan, organize and coordinate work independently with minimal supervision

· Attention to detail, critical thinking skills

· Knowledgeable of special programs and/or projects funded by federal, state and local grants that support the division’s goals and objectives
