JOB SUMMARY The Speech Pathologist is a certified Speech Language Pathologist who assumes the responsibility as a staff Speech/Language Pathologist to assess and give qualified therapy to the patients of Saint Francis Medical Center. The Speech/Language Pathologist will administer appropriate tests as diagnostic tools for evaluation, provide appropriate private therapy to meet short and long term goals, determine length of therapy, time of discharge and/or referrals. JOB DETAILS AND REQUIREMENTS Type: Full Time (72 hours per 2 week pay period, with benefits) Typical hours for this position: Monday-Friday 8:00am-4:30pm, weekends and holiday rotation Education: - Master's or Clinical Doctorate program in Speech/Language Pathology. Certification & Licensures: - Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) in Speech Pathology from American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA) - Current licensure in the State of Missouri - Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) candidate - BLS certification Experience: - No experience other than clinical internship required for entry Additional experience for Home Care and Hospice Speech Pathologists: - Must be a licensed driver with an automobile that is insured in accordance with state requirements and is in good working order- required - Experience in Home Care, Hospice and/or Palliative Care- preferred - Must register with the Family Care Safety Registry (FCSR) and complete the FCSR background- required ADDITIONAL INFORMATION Saint Francis Healthcare System provides equal employment opportunities (EEO) to all employees and applicants for employment without regard to race, color, religion, sex, national origin, age, disability, sexual orientation, gender identity, or genetics.
