Overview:
We are seeking a skilled and experienced Flooring Installer to join our team. As a Flooring Installer, you will be responsible for installing various types of flooring materials in residential and commercial settings. This is a hands-on role that requires attention to detail and the ability to work independently or as part of a team.

Duties:
- Install a wide range of flooring materials, including hardwood, laminate, vinyl, tile, and carpet
- Measure and cut flooring materials to fit specific dimensions
- Prepare subfloors by leveling, cleaning, and removing any existing flooring or debris
- Install underlayment and moisture barriers as needed
- Lay out flooring patterns and designs according to blueprints or customer preferences
- Secure flooring materials using adhesives, nails, staples, or other appropriate methods
- Trim and finish flooring edges using tools such as saws, trimmers, or routers
- Inspect completed installations for quality and ensure they meet customer expectations
- Repair or replace damaged flooring as necessary

Skills:
- Proficiency in various flooring installation techniques and methods
- Knowledge of different types of flooring materials and their specific installation requirements
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints or floor plans
- Strong attention to detail and precision in measurements and cuts
- Familiarity with tools and equipment used in flooring installation, such as saws, drills, nail guns, etc.
- Basic knowledge of carpentry skills for trim installation
- Excellent problem-solving skills to address any issues that may arise during installation
- Good communication skills to interact with clients and address their concerns or questions

Note: Experience in caulking, water damage restoration, fixture installation, cabinet installation, construction painting, or general maintenance person skills are considered a plus.
