Overview: Join our bakery team as a Bakery Assistant and contribute to the creation of delicious baked goods in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
Responsibilities:
- Assist in the preparation and production of a variety of traditional French bakery items such as bread, pastries, and desserts
- Measure and mix ingredients according to recipes
- Operate baking equipment including ovens, mixers, and sharp tools
- Ensure cleanliness and organization of workstations and baking areas
- Package and label finished products for display or storage
- Follow food safety standards and procedures
- Collaborate with the bakery team to meet production goals
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in a bakery or food service environment is preferred
- Knowledge of traditional French baking techniques and methods is a plus
- Ability to follow recipes accurately and work in a fast-paced setting
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
- Flexibility to work early mornings, weekends, and holidays as needed (Tuesday - Saturday)
