ABOUT THE ROLE :

The Administrative Assistant facilitates the efficient operation of the assigned department by performing a variety of clerical and administrative tasks.

Here are a few of the daily responsibilities of a Culinary Administrative Assistant :

  • Answers and transfers phone calls, screening when necessary. Provides back-up support to receptionist area when needed.
  • Pre-Screening all dining applicants.
  • Welcomes and directs residents, employees, and visitors to the department. Properly track and logs visitors with screening requirements.
  • Maintains filing system as assigned.
  • Retrieves information as requested from records, email, minutes, and other related documents; prepares written summaries of data when needed.
  • Drafts communication for department manager and distributes accordingly.
  • Responds to and resolves administrative inquiries and questions.
  • Coordinates and schedules travel, meetings, and appointments for managers and supervisors.
  • Prepares agenda and schedules for meetings.
  • Records and distributes minutes or other records for meetings.
  • Maintains office supplies and coordinates maintenance of office equipment.
  • Coordinates and plans events for the department while working with other key personnel in other departments (., Marketing, Human Resources, .
  • Performs other duties as assigned.

Here are a few of the qualifications we need you to have :

  • High school diploma / associate degree preferred.
  • Ability to understand and follow instructions in English, communicate effectively, and perform simple arithmetic.
  • Must have knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite products.
